Carmen started her marching career in 2012 on cymbals with War Eagle Winterline (2012-2013). She began playing bass for Olentangy Liberty High School's winterline and marching band program in 2015 and has been a member of a variety of different ensembles, including Ohio University's Marching 110 (2018, 2019, 2021), Erie Thunderbirds (2018), Triple Crown Percussion (2020), Rogues Hollow Regiment (2021), Connexus Percussion (2022), and Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps (2022). 

Carmen earned a degree in Psychology from Ohio University in the fall of 2022 and currently works at the Wexner Center for OSU'S Head and Neck Oncology department.
