CHEROKEE MILLETTI-MYERS

Brass Tech - Baritone

Cherokee is a Brass Performance major at The University of Akron School of Music. She has studied euphonium under Dr. Christopher Blaha and Professor Emeritus Tucker Jolly. She has also studied trombone under Dr. James Albrecht and Dr. Elisabeth Shafer.

During her time at UA, Cherokee has been a member of many ensembles including The University of Akron Marching Band, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Concert Band, Symphony Band, Jazz Ensemble, Tuba Euph Ensemble, Brass Choir, Trombone Choir, and Brass Quintet. She is also apart of the 122nd Army Band, Freedom Brass Band, and Trinity Gospel Temple Hour of Power Band.

Cherokee has served as a brass instructor at Ellet High School. She also privately teaches euphonium and trombone.

This is Cherokee’s third year with RHR and she looks forward to instructing during the 2022 season.
