Board Member & Membership Coordinator

Rachael has been marching with Rogues Hollow Regiment since 2018 in the mellophone section. As a member, Rachael has played an integral role in growing and supporting members throughout the corps. Rachael has also demonstrated contuined interest in volunteering and providing endless hours to the corps, including providing housing, watch parties for virtual competitions, and transportation for corps members.

Rachael is a 2008 Chippewa High School graduate. She also attended Champlin Park High School in Brooklyn Park, MN. After high school, Rachael attended the University of Akron, participating for 5 years in the marching band and university concert band while majoring in Biology. She was also treasurer and parliamentarian for Tau Beta Sigma Epsilon Iota chapter during college.

Rachael continued her college education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State in 2020. While earning her degree online, she joined Rogues Hollow Regiment to continue participating in a marching ensemble, and she has also played for various community bands.

Rachael has been married to her husband and Rogues Hollow Regiment volunteer, Taylor Black, since 2012. They reside in Doylestown, OH with their four cats. Rachael is employed at BioChip Labs, researching sickle cell disease.
